މާލޭ ފެން ކުންފުނި ހިނގަމުން އަންނަނީ ގޭގެ ފެންވަޅުގައި ހަރުކޮށްފައި ހުންނަ ފެން ޕަންޕު ނުވަތަ ފެން މޯޓަރު ހިންގާ ބީދައިން.

މާލޭ ވޯޓަރ އެންޑް ސްވަރޭޖް ކޮމްޕެނީ ނުވަތަ މާލޭ ފެން ކުންފުނި ސަރުކާރުން އުފެއްދި މައިގަނޑު މަޤުސަދަކީ މާލޭގެ ފެނާއި ނަރުދަމާ ފަރުމާކޮށް ތަރައްޤީ ކުރުމާއެކު މިކަމަށް ކުރާހޭދައާއި އެކަށޭނެ ޚިދުމަތް ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމެވެ. ނަމަވެސް ފެން ކުންފުނި އުފެއްދީ، ވިޔަފާރިކުންފުންޏެއް ގޮގުގައި ސަރުކާރަށް އާމްދަނީ ހޯދައިދޭ ކުންފުންޏެއްގެ ގޮތުގައިކަމެއް ނުވަތަ މާލޭގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ނަރުދަމާގެ ޚިދުމަތާއި ރައްކާތެރި ސާފުބޯފެން ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމަށް ކަމެއް މިހާރަކު ނޭގެއެވެ. އެގޭ އެއްޗަކީ، 1995 ގައި އުފެއްދި ފެންކުންފުނި ހިންގަމުން އަންނަނީ، ފެލިވަރު މަސްދަޅު ބަންދުކުރާ ކާރު ޚާނާ ހިންގާ ބީދައިން ވިޔަފާރިކުންފުންޏެއް ގޮތުގައި ކަމެވެ.
މާލެއިން ފެނުގެ ޚިދުމަތް މެދުކެނޑިގެން ދިއުން
ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް 130000 މީހުންގެ އާބާދީއެއް ދިރިއުޅެމުން އަންނަ މާލެއަށް ބޯފެން ސަޕްލައިކުރުމުގައި ކުއްލި ޙާލަތްތަކުގައި އަޅަން ޖެހޭ ފިޔަވަޅު ފެން ކުންފުނިން އަޅާފައިނުވާކަން މިވަނީ ހާމަވެގެން ގޮސްފައެވެ. ފެން ކުންފުންޏާއި ދޭތެރޭ މާލޭގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ ރައްޔިތުން އިތުރަށް ސަމާލުވާން ވީ ވަގުތު މިވަނީ އައިސް ބައްދަލުވެފައެވެ.
8 ގަޑިއިރަށް މުޅިމާލެއިން ފެން ކެނޑުމާއިގުޅިގެން، ފެން ކުންފުނިން ނޫސްތަކަށް ދިން މަޢލޫމާތުތެރޭގައި ތިމަންނާމެން މިކަހަލަ ކަންކަން ވަރަށް ފަސޭހައި ކޮށްލަމޭ ވިދާޅުވިއިރު، ފެން ކުންފުނިން މިބާވަތުގެ ކަންކަން ކުރަނީ މީހުން ގަދަ ނިދީގައި ނިދިފައިތިބޭ ވަޤުތު ބަލާފައި ދަންވަރު މާރކަރީ ލައިޓް ދިއްލައިގެން ސިއްރުސިއްރުން މުޅި ރަށުން ފެން ކަނޑާލައިގެންކަން ގަދަ ނިދީގައި ތިބޭ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ނޭގުނަސް ގިނަ ރައްޔިތުން ދަނެއެވެ.
އެހާ ފަސޭހައި ކުރަމުން އަންނަކަމެއް ޙައްލުކޮށްލަން ދަންވަރު 12ގެ ފަހުން މާރކަރީލައިޓް ދިއްލައިގެން މުޅި ރަށުން ފެން ކަނޑާލައިގެން ކުރަމުން އަންނަކަމީ، މިބާވަތުގެ ކަންކަން ކުރުމަށް ލިބެން ހުރި، ކުރިއަރާފައިވާ ޒަމާނީވަޞީލަތްތަކަށް ބަލާއިރު ސުވާލު އުފެދޭކަމެކެވެ. މާލޭގެ ބޯފެނާއި ނަރުދަމާ ނިޒާމް ހަރުދަނާ ކުރުމަށް މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުން ނުދާކަމުގެ ހެއްކެކެވެ.
ފެން ކަނޑާލަން ދިމާވީ، "ޑިސްޓްރިބިއުޝަން ސިސްޓަމްއަށް ދިމާވި އެލެކްޓްރިކަލް މައްސަލަތަކަކާހުރެ ޕޯސްޓް ޓްރީޓްމަންޓް ޔުނިޓްގައި ހުރި އެއްޗެހިތަކެއް ޕަންޕުތެރެއަށްގޮސްގެން އެމްޕެލާ ހަލާކުވުމުން ކަމުގައި ކުންފުނިން ހާމަކުރިއިރު، ނިންމާލަމުން ވިދާޅުވީ އެ ޕައިޕް ވެލްޑް ކުރެވެން ހުރި ގޮތަކީ ޕައިޕްލައިން އިން ފެން ހުސްކޮށްގެން ކަމެވެ". ހާމަކުރި މިދެންނެވި މަޢުލޫމާތަށް ބަލާއިރު މައްސަލަ ދިމާވީ ޕައިޕްލައިންގައިކަމެއް، ޕޯސްޓްޓްރީޓްމަންޓް ޔުނިޓްގައި ކަމެއް، ޑިސްޓްރިބިއުޝަން ސިސްޓަމްގައިކަމެއް، ކުންފުނީގައިކަމެއް ނޭގުނެވެ. އެގޭ އެއްޗަކީ ކުންފުންޏަށް މައްސަލަތަކެއް ދިމާވިކަމެވެ. 8 ގަޑިއިރަށް ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ބޯފެން ނުލިބިދިއަ ކަމެވެ.
ޕޯސްޓް ޓްރީޓްމަންޓްގައި ހުރި އެއްޗެހިތަކަކާހުރެ، ޑިސްޓްރިބިއުޝަން ޕަންޕުގެ އެމްޕެލާ ހަލާކުވިއިރު ޕޯސްޓް ޓްރީޓްމަންޓްގައި ހުރީ އެފަދަ ކޮން އެއްޗެހިތަކެއްތޯއެވެ.؟
ފެން ކުންފުނި އިމަރޖެންސީއަށް ތައްޔާރުވެފައި ނެތުން
ފެނަކީ، އެއާއި ނުލައި އިންސާނުންނަށް ދިރި ނޫޅެވޭނެ ވަޞީލަތަކަށް ވީހިނދު، ރައްކާތެރި ސާފު ބޯފެން ލިބިދިނުމަކީީ އިންސާނީ ޙައްގެކެވެ. ޕަންޕުގެ އިސްކުރެއް ބަދަލުކޮށްލަން 130000 މީހުންނަށް ދޫކުރަމުން އަންނަ ބޯފެން ދުވަހު ހަތަރުދަމު މެދުކަނޑާލުމަކީ މައްސަލައެކެވެ. ކުންފުނީގެ މެނޭޖްމަންޓާއި ދޭތެރޭ ސުވާލު އުފެދޭކަމެކެވެ.
ދިމާވާ މިބާވަތުގެ މައްސަލަތައް ޙައްލުކުރުމުގައި، ފެނުގެ ޚިދުމަތް މެދުކަނޑާ ނުލާ ކަންކަން ރާވަން ޖެހޭކަމަށް ފެން ކުންފުނި ހިންގަން ތިބި ވެރީންގެ ޚިޔާލަށްވެސް އަންނަނީީ، ފެން ފޯރުކޮށްދޭ ނިޒާމް ފެއިލްވެ ހުއްޓުމަކަށް އައީމައެވެ. މިއިން ދޭހަވަނީ، ކުންފުނީގެ ހިންގުން ހަރުދަނާ ކުރުމަށް މަސައްކަތް ނުކުރާކަމެވެ.
ފެންކުންފުނީގެ އެތެރޭގެ މައްސަލަތައް
ފެން ކުންފުނި އުފެދިގެން އާއިރު، ފެން ކުންފުންޏަކީ، ވަރަށް ހީވާގި ޤާބިލު ބޭފުޅުން ކޮޅެއް ހަރަކާތްތެރިވަމުން އައި ތަނެކެވެ. އެކަމަކު، ގިނަ ޒަމާންތަކެއް ވަންދެން ފެން ކުންފުނީގައި މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުންދިޔަ ފެނާއި ނަރުދަމާ ދާއިރާއިން ތަޖުރިބާ ހުރި ފަންނީ އެތައް ބައެއް މިވަނީ ގެއަށް ފޮނުވާލާފައެވެ. ބައެއް ބޭފުޅުން ކުންފުނީގެ މެނޭޖްމަންޓާ ދޭތެރޭ ހިތްހަމަނުޖެހިގެން ވަނީ ކުންފުނިން ވަކިވެފައެވެ. ބޯފެން ފަދަ އަސާސީ ޚިދުމަތެއް ދެމުން އަންނަ ތަނެއްގައި، ތަޖުރިބާ ހުރި ފަންނީ މީހުން ތަނުގެ ތެރޭގައި މަސައްކަތްކުރުމަކީ މުހިންމު ކަމަކަށްވީހިނދު، މިދެންނެވި ފަދަ ބޭބޭފުޅުން ކުންފުނިން ބޭރުކުރުމަކީ ކުންފުންޏަށް ލިބިގެންދިޔަ ހީނަރުކަމެކެވެ.
އަމިއްލަ މުދާގަނޑެއްހެން ހިންގޭނީ، ގޭގެ ފެން ވަޅުގައި ބަހައްޓާފައި ހުންނަ ފެން ޕަންޕު ނުވަތަ ފެން މޯޓަރެވެ. އެވެސް، ހިންގާ ބެލެހެއްޓުމުގައި ފަރުވާ ކުޑަވެއްޖެ ކަމުގައި ވަނީނަމަ އެއަކުންވެސް ފެނެއް ނުލިބޭނެއެވެ. ދެން ޖެހޭނީ ދާނި ބޭނުންކުރާށެވެ.

ReplyDeleteThe article is very true. there are numnerous problems with the company management. the company become weak due to the weakness of regulator- MWSA.
ReplyDeleteMWSA being water and sanitation regulator, has no power over the last 30 years, although it has been established back in 1972. When the dictator Gayyoom came into power, mwsa was one of the active government institutes. Once the dictator strengthened his grip on government institutes he kept those institutes including mwsa inactive for his sake.
With the new government, we still don,t see MWSA getting autonomous and independent from government. With the new government led by Anni, we see that MWSA has been dissolved into newly formed Min. of Env,housing and Transport.
Unless we strengthen and make MWSA independent from government, water and sewerage sector is not going to see any improvement.
There has to be a strong independent authority who set criteria and standards on water and sanitation, there has to have an independent authority who sets regulations on water and sanitation, otherwise we are going to repeat what the dictator Gayyoom did, over the past 30 years.
Not only water and sanitation, the same applies for energy as well.

ReplyDeletewell, it has been long time since MWSC has been operating above the regulator. They never obtained operating license from the regulator. and they are operating on their own regulations.They never listen to regulator.
